Andrew Hynes is a multi-award winning podcast producer and audio journalist, whose work has been featured on Canadaland and The Globe and Mail’s daily news podcast, The Decibel.
He started his career with CFUV’s podcasts in Victoria, BC, winning the National Campus and Community Radio Association’s (NCRA) prestigious Volunteer of the Year award for all of Canada. He is also the recipient of the NCRA’s Documentary of the Year award for 2021.
Over the past four years he has reported on stories ranging from opera singers, tree planters, witches, pizza delivery drivers, rabbit activists, speed skaters and even an Inuit greenhouse.
